If you’re like me you remember the first time you heard Tony Campolo preach the  Gospel. For me it was ten years ago at the Tabernacle in Ocean City, New Jersey. I’ll never forget Tony’s passionate declaration of the Good News and how it motivated me to work for social justice. Two years later I started working with Tony and EAPE and the rest, as they say, is history.

With prophetic zeal, renowned humor and unforgettable stories, Tony has devoted his life to proclaiming the whole Gospel and inspiring and challenging Christians to follow Jesus by loving and serving the poor and oppressed.

Under Tony’s visionary and entrepreneurial leadership, for more than 40 years EAPE has created, nurtured and supported innovative ministries for “at-risk” children, youth and their families in inner cities throughout North America and in the developing world.

Since Tony founded EAPE in 1970, thousands of folks like you have volunteered their time and talents, remembered Tony and our urban missionaries in their prayers, and invested in our ministry with their financial gifts.

Last year, your support strengthened and sustained ministries in Atlanta, Georgia and Buffalo, New York; in Camden, New Jersey and Oakland, California; in Houston, Texas and Tacoma, Washington; in Babati, Tanzania and Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In these cities and elsewhere, our missionaries embodied the whole Gospel by working for the educational, social and spiritual wellbeing of the children, youth and families they served in Jesus’ name.

This year we have ambitious ministry goals and we need your help to achieve them. Enclosed you will find a list of our Core Ministries we’re investing in this year, and brief descriptions of what you will accomplish with your support.

It’s my hope that you’ll keep this flier and prayerfully consider how you will partner with us in ministry this year.
